EirLinkTerms of Service

These Terms govern your use of EirLink ("EirLink", "we"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
The Service
EirLink connects your Shopify store to your own carrier accounts (An Post, DPD and others), or to an EirPost account, to import orders and generate shipping labels, and to sync tracking and fulfilment back to Shopify. EirLink is an independent product and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, An Post or Shopify.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for all activity under your account. You must verify your email address to use the Service.
Live labels and billing
Shipping labels created through EirLink are real. With your own carrier account connected, postage is billed by that carrier to your account and mistakes are cancelled through that carrier. With EirPost connected, each label is paid from the shipping balance you prepaid on eirpost.ie. EirLink itself is free, adds no markup and processes no payments. You are responsible for the labels you create: ensure order and parcel details are correct before creating a label.
The EirPost option
If you connect an EirPost account, EirLink creates An Post labels through EirPost, which prices each label and takes the amount from your EirPost balance. Top-ups, the balance, label pricing, weight adjustments after the monthly An Post invoice and cancellations are governed by EirPost's terms. In short: top-ups are non-refundable and never expire, parcels are up to 2 kg, and cancellations are requested by email to contact@eirpost.ie, with an approved cancellation credited to the balance.
Your responsibilities
- Maintaining a valid account with the carrier you connect, or with EirPost, and with Shopify.
- Complying with the terms of your carrier, EirPost and Shopify, and with applicable postal, customs, and data-protection laws.
- Not misusing the Service, attempting to disrupt it, or accessing data you are not authorised to access.
Third-party services
Your use of Shopify, your carriers and EirPost is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, or actions.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EirLink is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for postage charges, customs charges, lost or delayed parcels, or label errors arising from the data you provide. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms and will revise the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
